Protecting unborn life and supporting expectant mothers was the focus of a recent meeting I had with the Lifeline Coalition, a Christ-centered organization dedicated to walking alongside women throughout pregnancy. The discussion highlighted how their ministry offers hope and encouragement by reminding expecting mothers that they are not alone, and that real support is available.
The Lifeline Coalition’s work centers on providing compassionate guidance and consistent care during pregnancy, helping women move forward with confidence during what can be a challenging time. Through personal support and access to resources, their approach replaces fear with reassurance and empowers women to choose life.
We also discussed the role state government can play in fostering a culture that values life while supporting mothers before, during, and after pregnancy. Conversations like this are important to ensuring public policy reflects compassion for both mothers and their children.
I am grateful to the Lifeline Coalition for taking the time to share their work and perspective. Their dedication to supporting women and protecting life makes a meaningful difference in communities across Illinois, and I appreciate their insight as we continue working toward policies that defend life.
