Trump Cut Costs. Illinois Democrats Raised Yours

In just 365 days, President Donald J. Trump has taken decisive action and delivered real results to put our nation back on the right path to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN.

Across much of the country, families are starting to feel the benefits of courageous conservative leadership. Here in Illinois, they are still being squeezed because the tax leeches of the Democratic Party refuse to get out of the way.

Border security and economic strength define President Trump’s first year and expose how Illinois Democrats are holding local families back.

The Border Is Secured. Illinois Still Pays the Price.

For years, Republicans said the truth. We did not need another immigration bill to secure the border. We needed a president with the spine to enforce the current law.

President Trump proved that point in record time. The chaos at the southern border was completely shut down. The United States once again controls who enters this country. President Biden’s failure and surrender were reversed, restoring real enforcement for the first time in a generation.

More than 2.6 million illegals were removed through deportations and voluntary self-departures. Law enforcement carried out over 650,000 arrests, detentions, and removals, prioritizing dangerous criminal offenders who never should have been here in the first place.

And then there is Illinois.

While Washington enforced the law, Illinois Democrats did everything they could to undermine it.

Governor Pritzker’s radical sanctuary policies remain locked in place, protecting illegals from federal law enforcement and shielding them from accountability. Democrats pretend there are no consequences, even as fentanyl floods our streets, human trafficking expands, and crime spreads into our communities.

Pritzker and his far-left allies love to hide behind the word “compassion,” but their version of compassion means dumping the cost of illegal immigration straight onto Illinois taxpayers. Housing, food, transportation, healthcare, and services for people who are not supposed to be here are paid for by families who are struggling to get by.

While President Trump shut down the chaos at the border, Illinois Democrats rolled out the red carpet for lawbreakers and mailed the bill to you.

The border is secured. Illinois is still paying for Democrats’ delusion.

A Stronger Economy, Unless You Live in Illinois

Promises made. Promises kept.

President Trump rebuilt the economy exactly the way he said he would. The Big Beautiful Bill delivered the largest tax cut in history for working Americans, raising take-home pay by roughly $5,000 for median-income households and saving more than 4.1 million jobs. Across the country, workers finally got a break.

Policies like “No Tax on Tips” and “No Tax on Overtime” were simple and fair. If you work harder, you keep more of your money. That is common sense. That is America.

And Illinois Democrats could not stand it.

Instead of letting workers keep their raise, Governor JB Pritzker and the Chicago machine stepped in and deliberately blocked it. They decoupled Illinois from federal tax relief so the state could keep squeezing every last dollar out of the people who actually do the work.

While families in other states saw bigger paychecks, Illinois workers got punished for living here.

Waitresses, bartenders, and hairstylists did nothing wrong. They showed up. They worked. Then Pritzker the trust-fund tyrant stepped in and took their hard-earned money with his backdoor tax.

That is not incompetence. That is a choice.

Illinois Democrats love to run their mouths about fighting for working people. In reality, they exist to feed a bloated government and protect a political machine that survives by draining workers dry.

They tax you. They regulate you. They raise your costs. Then lecture you about “affordability.”

President Trump delivered relief, and Illinois Democrats made sure it never reached you. I’ll believe Illinois Democrats are serious about taxing the rich when Governor JB Pritzker moves his trust money from the Grand Cayman Islands to Illinois. Until then, forgive us for not applauding their latest lecture.
