I visited four communities in Ogle County, making stops in Polo, Mount Morris, Oregon and Byron to meet with local mayors and other community leaders.
Each stop gave me a chance to hear directly from local officials about what is happening in their communities and what they are working toward in the months and years ahead. We discussed local development projects, grants communities have received and other updates from across the area.
I was also able to provide an update on what is happening at the state level and discuss issues that could impact Ogle County.
These meetings are a valuable opportunity to stay connected with the people leading our communities and learn more about their priorities. I appreciate everyone who took the time to sit down with me, and I look forward to continuing to work with our local leaders as they plan for the future.
