It was great to see Genoa-Kingston FFA members at the Capitol.
I had a strong conversation with this next generation of agricultural leaders about the paths they are pursuing and the role they want to play in Illinois’ agriculture industry. It’s clear they are thinking seriously about the future and how they can make a positive difference.
FFA continues to do an outstanding job developing young people who understand hard work, responsibility, and the importance of agriculture to our state. Programs like this help ensure the next generation is prepared to step in and lead, especially as agriculture continues to evolve.
I appreciate these students taking the time to come to Springfield and share their perspective. The future of Illinois agriculture is in good hands with leaders like them, and I look forward to seeing how they continue to grow and succeed.
