Andrew Chesney

ILLINOIS STATE SENATOR
45TH DISTRICT

Reminder: Make Your Voice Heard in the March 17 Primary

The Illinois primary election is coming up on March 17, and I want to remind everyone across the 45th District to take part in this important civic responsibility.

Voting is one of the most fundamental rights we have as Americans. It is the way citizens make their voices heard and take part in shaping the future of their communities, our state, and of course our country.

As your state senator, it is not my role to advocate for any particular candidate or outcome in a primary election. My goal is simply to encourage participation and remind people how important it is for citizens to stay engaged in the democratic process.

I encourage everyone who is eligible to take a few minutes to cast a ballot. Elections are decided by those who show up, and every vote contributes to the strength of our democracy.

If you have not yet made a plan to vote, now is a good time to do so. Civic participation helps ensure that government remains accountable to the people it serves.
