A strong advocate for the humane treatment of animals, State Senator Andrew Chesney (R-Freeport) is partnering with the Northwest Illinois Alliance of Realtors for a pet food donation drive to replenish supplies at the Friends Forever Humane Society of Freeport. The drive will take place from April 28-May 16.
“There is no better pet than an adopted pet, and the Friends Forever Humane Society of Freeport has been providing loving homes for pets for over 70 years,” said Chesney. “Supplies are always needed, and it is my pleasure to co-host a donation drive to ensure their adoptable pets have an adequate amount of food.”
Specifically, the Society has expressed a need for the following items:
- Purina Dog Chow
- Purina Cat Chow
- Purina Puppy Chow
- Purina Kitten Chow
- Purina Dog Chow Little Bites
- Any variety of Canned Dog Food
Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:
