State Senator Andrew Chesney (R-Freeport) is kicking off a series of Community Connections meetings in the 45th District with a Tuesday, June 18 with event in Genoa. Genoa Mayor Jonathon Brust will co-host the event.
“The spring legislative session concluded in May with the approval of a $53 billion budget and approximately $1 billion in new taxes on Illinoisans,” said Chesney. “In my conversations with the people I represent in the 45th District, I hear almost daily about their growing frustration with the misplaced priorities perpetuated by Governor JB Pritzker and majority party Democrats.”
